• Is the Wi-Fi reliable for video calls?

Yes. The house offers reliable high-speed Wi-Fi with speeds of up to 94 Mbps for both download and upload, making it ideal for video conferencing, cloud-based work and large file transfers.

It is equipped with a modern Wi-Fi 6 router that efficiently supports multiple connected devices at the same time. The network is optimized to prioritize video traffic, ensuring smooth and stable Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls throughout your stay.

• Is the house private?

The property can be rented as an entire private villa, but the four guest rooms may also be booked separately by different guests. If you prefer complete privacy, please let us know when making your reservation, and we will provide a quote for exclusive use of the entire house.

• Can I stay longer than 7 days?

Yes, longer stays are possible and are encouraged for guests working remotely. We recommend informing the host in advance, especially if you plan to stay for more than a week. Last-minute extensions may be available, but during the busy season (May–August) availability cannot be guaranteed.

• Can I bring my dog?

Well-behaved pets are welcome, provided they are house-trained, quiet and do not disturb other guests. An additional fee of €10 per pet, per night applies.

• Is kayaking suitable for beginners?

Yes. The kayaks are suitable for beginners and guests with no previous kayaking experience. They are stable and comfortable sit-in recreational kayaks designed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, even for first-time paddlers.

• Is there a dedicated workspace?

Yes. The house offers a comfortable workspace in the living room with an ergonomic chair, natural daylight and peaceful surroundings, making it ideal for focused remote work.

In addition, each bedroom is equipped with its own desk and chair, providing a private space for working, studying or attending online meetings. Every room also has multiple power outlets, making it easy to connect laptops, monitors, chargers and other electronic devices.

After 4:00 pm, the second-floor terrace overlooking Studen Kladenets Lake becomes a perfect outdoor office, offering a peaceful setting for video calls, creative work or simply finishing your tasks while enjoying the fresh air and spectacular views of the Rhodope Mountains.

• Is the house suitable for long-term stays?

Absolutely. Mihaela Lake Retreat is designed for guests who want to stay for several weeks or even a month. A fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and reliable Wi-Fi make long stays comfortable and convenient.

• Can I cook my own meals?

Yes. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine and all necessary cookware and tableware. Home-cooked breakfast and dinner can also be arranged upon request.

• Are there restaurants or grocery stores nearby?

The nearest grocery stores and restaurants are located in Kardzhali, about 20 km away. Grocery delivery before arrival can be arranged upon request for your convenience.

• What outdoor activities can I enjoy after work?

After your workday, you can go kayaking on Studen Kladenets Lake, hike through the surrounding forests, watch birds and wildlife, cycle along scenic routes, or simply relax on the terrace and enjoy the sunset.

• Is the area quiet enough for focused work?

Yes. The village of Gnyazdovo is a peaceful rural destination with very little traffic or noise, offering an ideal environment for concentration, creativity and relaxation.

• How far is the nearest airport?

The nearest international airports are Plovdiv, Sofia and Burgas. Airport transfers can be arranged upon request.

• Can I combine my workation with wellness activities?

Yes. In addition to nature-based activities around the lake, guests can enjoy an optional day trip to the mineral spa facilities at Haskovo Mineral Baths, located about one hour away by car.
